Loggerhead Kingbird at Dry Tortugas National Park

Loggerhead Kingbird

The second official sighting in the United States of the Loggerhead Kingbird was made in the Dry Tortugas March 22, 2008!

This Bahamian and Cuban resident was sighted this time last year in Key West at Fort Zackery Taylor State Park, and now in the Dry Tortugas National Park. The bird has been busy catching insects in the campground and paradeground on Garden Key.
